STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Senior Students are eligible based on their participation in our AHS Basketball Program.
Applicant must apply.
Applicant must be a member of
the Basketball Program a minimum of (2) years.
Applicant Parent(s) must be a
member of the Booster Club by start of season a minimum of (2) years.
Applicant must volunteer at
least (10) hours of service supporting the Booster Club Basketball program.
Applicant Parent(s) must
volunteer at (2) tournaments per membership year.
Applicant must have a GPA of:
(2.75) = (75 or higher).
Applicant must submit two
letters of recommendation: (1) from your community and (1) from AHS Faculty.
Applicant must write a one
hundred fifty word essay on what our basketball program has meant to you.
Include one of the memories you experienced and how you will use this for your future.
Applicant must submit
completed Scholarship Application to Career/Scholarship Center by March 30,
2007.
The current minimum
scholarship fund is $4,000 which is divided equally among all the qualifying
seniors, up to a maximum of $500 per senior.
